TRC completes new offices for Rice Fergus Miller Architecture
Tim Ryan Construction of Poulsbo has completed Rice Fergus Miller Architecture’s new offices at 275 Fifth St. in Bremerton.
The site has more than 22,700 square feet of professional office space, 9,300 square feet of below-grade parking and 3,200 square feet of lease space.
TRC and Rice Fergus Miller worked together to convert the former Sears Allstate Auto Center — a 1948 building that had been abandoned for 24 years — into the new offices and studio.
The project is conceived as a laboratory for innovative design and experimentation, combining sustainable energy and water use features with the recycling of an abandoned and forgotten downtown building shell.
The project is tracking for LEED Platinum certification. Once awarded, it will be the most efficient in the Puget Sound area, according to the companies.
