Local hotel gets a new name and grand re-opening

Best Western International has announced the re-opening of the Best Western Plus Silverdale Beach Hotel, located at 3073 NW Bucklin Hill Rd. in Silverdale.The hotel is re-opening as a part of the Best Western hotel chain.

There will be a grand re-opening and ribbon-cutting at the hotel at 5 p.m. April 26 and the public is invited to join in.Owned by YC Silverdale Hotel Group, LLC, the 100-percent smoke free hotel features 151 guest rooms.Hotel amenities include a large indoor heated pool, hot tub, steam room, massage services and 24-hour fitness center.

Guests can enjoy a beachfront breakfast room for the morning buffet.Each room is equipped with 42-inch flat screen television, refrigerator, microwave and free wireless Internet access.For business travelers, the hotel offers a 24-hour complimentary business center with printing and faxing services, and free wireless Internet access in all public areas.

The hotel also offers several choices for meeting space accommodating from 15 to 250 attendees.“We are proud to welcome the Best Western Plus Silverdale Beach Hotel to our chain,” said Mark Williams, vice president, North American development for Best Western International.Rates start at $89.99 per night.
