The prizes are bigger and the voting options are greater in this year’s Best of... Central Kitsap.

The vote is again in your hands with you making the decision on the best and brightest in CK. It’s your chance to choose your favorites including service, people, places, food and schools. Categories on the ballot include favorite family restaurant, best hair salon and best school.

“We’re excited to bring Best of ... Central Kitsap back to the community for its second year,” said Rob White, publisher of the Central Kitsap Reporter. “It’s your chance to cast your vote for your favorites.”

This year, the prizes are even greater with a grand prize of two roundtrip tickets anywhere Southwest Airlines flies. There’s more than 64 destinations to choose from. The first-place winner will receive $500 in gift certificates from Outback Steakhouse, Old Town Bistro Martini & Wine Bar, Costco, Sportsman’s Warehouse and EmbroidMe. Second-place receives $260 in gift certificates. To qualify, entries must be 50 percent completed.

It’s easy to enter for a chance to win. All you have to do is fill out an official entry form which can be found in the CK Reporter, at Kitsap Mall’s Guest Services Center or at the Silverdale Chamber of Commerce. This year, you can even vote online at www.centralkitsapreporter.com. Also new to this year’s voting, you can decide your favorites for the annual Silverdale Chamber Accolades Awards with categories for business of the year, citizen of the year and business pioneer.

Deadline for all entries is Aug. 20. Only one entry per person via online or print. Completed entries cut out from the CK Reporter can be dropped off at the CK Reporter office or mailed to The Best of... c/o CK Reporter, 9989 Silverdale Way NW, Suite 109, Towne Center, Silverdale, WA 98383. Official entries filled out at Kitsap Mall and Silverdale Chamber of Commerce can be returned directly to those locations.
