GRADUATES

HILLSDALE, Mich. — Rachel Sell, a 2005 Klahowya Secondary School graduate and Washington State Scholar, graduated May 10 from Hillsdale College in Michigan. She graduated summa cum laude from the Honors Program, with a major in German, and minors in biology and chemistry. In August, she will attend Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit.

NEWBERG, Ore. — Matthew Nofziger of Silverdale graduated from George Fox University on April 26.

Nofziger received a bachelor of arts in business administration, graduating with cum laude honors. Cum laude graduates must have maintained at least a 3.5 grade point average during their university years.

He is the son of Thomas and Marvel Nofziger of Silverdale.

DEAN’S LIST

CHENEY — The following students were named to the dean’s list at Eastern Washington University for spring 2008.

Silverdale — Mallory Carter, Colleen Childers, Jessica Dizon, Meghan Granito, Derek Hilt, Kyle James, Sammie Kirouac, Brett Moore, Ruthann Skilbeck, Elizabeth Stewart and Alexander Wolfe.

Bremerton — Sean Apodaca, Scott Ayers, Vanessa Bennett, Sonja Buckalew, Paul Matej and Kevin Smith Orn.
