Veterans Day event to ‘Honor All Who Serve’

More than 40 different organizations collaborated in this year’s planning of the Kitsap County Veterans Day event.
The community is invited to attend the event to “Honor All Who Serve” on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds Pavilion, 1200 N.W. Fairgrounds Road in Bremerton.
The pavilion will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for viewing of the displays. The formal ceremony is set for 10:30-11:45 a.m.
Rear Adm. Timothy Giardina, Commander, Submarine Group Trident, will serve as the keynote speaker. Motorcycle riding veterans will be out in full force and will depart from Legend Harley-Davidson at 9625 Provost Road N.W. in Silverdale at 9:30 a.m. and will ride to the Kitsap County Fairgrounds to show their support of veterans and troops.
