Weekend Rock Roundup: Hear psychedelics, experimentalists

Port Orchard’s grunge band Rory O.K. and The Worst Band Ever play The Charleston Music Venue, 333 N. Callow Ave., Bremerton, with psychedelic rockers Enkrya (pictured left) and alt-rock band Lunar Blue at 7 p.m. Friday, July 23. Mondo Aggro kicks off the night along with Davis, Calif.-based DCOI!, Board Youth, Bully, No Future and Lethal Lava Land at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 24. Experimental band Robot Pi heads down from Port Angeles to play at Winterland, 1220 Sylvan Way, Bremerton, along with Seattle comedy-punk band Steel Tigers of Death, Kids on Fire, Jack Dick and the Strange starting at 9 p.m. Winterland hosts WOODROT the following day, along with two metal bands from Virginia; Inter Arma and Bastard Sapling and Bremerton thrash band Steelscape, beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday, July 24. In the House returns to MoonDogs, Too from 7-11 p.m. Friday, July 23, at 714 Bay Street, Port Orchard, to play a blues performance with no cover charge. The Usual Suspects continue with the blues at Moondogs from 7-11 p.m. Saturday, July 24. WU
