Eagles, Cougars fall at state

  • Jun 11, 2008 at 1:25PM

ELMA -- The Klahowya Eagles reached the state Class 2A football tournament for the first time on Friday against Elma and were looking to go further against a team with a barely over .500 record in a weakly perceived league. The Elma boys had other ideas on their wet home turf, winning the game 46-21 to advance to the quarterfinals. Meanwhile in Silverdale, the CK girls soccer team saw its season come to a halt when Narrows League foes Stadium broke open a 1-1 tie by outshooting CK 4-2 in a shootout. For more details on these games, plus the state 4A girls swimming meet, check out the CK Reporter on Wednesday.
