Officials break ground for The Trails at Silverdale

Kitsap County Commissioner Chairman Charlotte Garrido took the opportunity at the groundbreaking for The Trails at Silverdale, to remind everyone that some people thought the county was only dreaming when it put in the infrastructure at Kitsap Mall Boulevard and Greaves Way.

Kitsap Nonprofit teams up with local businesses to fight Ebola in Africa

Thanks to generous donations from Kitsap County physicians and businesses, Silverdale nonprofit Children of the Nations (COTN) is sending 200 pounds of medical supplies to West Africa to combat the recent Ebola outbreak.
