Suspects arrested for East Bremerton bank robbery

Two Bremerton men were arrested hours after the Sept. 24 robbery of the Wheaton Way Key Bank.

At about 3:30 p.m., police responded to the East Bremerton Key Bank after a 21-year-old man demanded an undisclosed amount of cash from a bank teller and fled with the money, according to a Bremerton Police news release. There were customers in the bank, but no one was injured.

The 23-year-old was arrested at 1 a.m. Sept. 25 and booked into Kitsap County jail for first-degree robbery and money laundering. Bail for both was set at $500,000.
