Scary, and not so scary, Halloween outings in Bremerton and Silverdale

Both Silverdale and Bremerton will offer Halloween fun for all ages this month.

Pheasant Fields Farm in Silverdale is hosting several Halloween-themed events this month.

The family fun cornfield maze is open daily from noon to 6 p.m. until Oct. 31. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children.

The “No Ghoul, No Gore, No Scare” nocturnal farm tour will be held on select weekend days and includes a nighttime tour of the farm, a walk in the maze and a storyteller in the woods. That event runs at 6 and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 16 and at 4 p.m. Oct. 17 and 24. Bring flashlights. Reservations are advised at (360) 697-6224. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $5 for children 15 years and younger.

The Wild Woods haunted farm will be open 7 to 9:30 p.m. Oct. 22, 23, 29 and 30. Witches, ghosts and goblins await guests who walk the haunted corn maze and wander the spooky woods. These are supervised 30-minute events, no reservations required. Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult. Cost is $7.50.

Pheasant Fields Farm is located at 13274 Clear Creek Road Northwest in Silverdale.

The Bremerton Historical Ships Association is hosting a Haunted Ship aboard the USS Turner Joy to raise money for the maintenance and restoration of the Vietnam War-era Navy destroyer. The Halloween Haunted Ship will be open from 5 to 11 p.m. Oct. 29 and 30 and 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 31 on the Bremerton boardwalk. Admission is $7.
