The Silverdale Cold Stone Creamery was robbed by a man in a mask brandishing a knife Nov. 20.

Kitsap County sheriff’s deputies were called to the store at 9601 Mickelberry Road NW at about 9:24 p.m. when an employee reported the robbery, according to reports.

A 23-year-old female employee told the deputy that after returning to the lobby following a smoke break, a man with a knife, his face covered by a mask, approached her demanding money.

The employee said she gave the man a “handful of money in various denominations” from a register. He then fled the scene.

He was described as about 5 feet 6 inches tall, likely in his 20s, with dark eyebrows, wearing a thick gray jacket and blue jeans. He may have been driving a Ford Ranger pickup truck.
