Two same-day Silverdale nail salon burglaries

Two Silverdale nail salons were burglarized Dec. 11, according to reports from the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office.

At 6:30 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to an alarm at Hot Nails and Tanning at 3276 NW Plaza Road. The lock on the front door had been removed and about $150 in cash was stolen.

At 9:29 a.m. another burglary was discovered at Nail Pro at 2222 NW Bucklin Hill Road, where the lock to the front door had been punched out. A laptop computer valued at $700 was stolen along with about $100 in cash. The deputy was able to locate two prints on the back side of a “decorative cat” that had been moved from its original location.

There is no suspect information for either case.
