A 55-year-old Bremerton man was flown to a Tacoma hospital Wednesday evening with critical injuries when the motorcycle he was riding collided with an SUV.

Medics from the Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue and sheriff's deputies were called to the 5700 block of Central Valley Road NW at about 5:45 p.m., according to a statement.

Early results of the investigation show the motorcyclist, riding a 2008 Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide, was traveling north on the road when it struck the right rear side of a southbound 1996 Jeep Cherokee that was turning left onto NE Teri Court. The motorcycle was totaled. The Jeep, driven by a 16-year-old female, was totaled. She was not hurt.

Another SUV was damaged when it struck the Jeep.

Those with information about this collision can contact Deputy Andrew Aman at (360) 337-4634.
