Silverdale man shoots car cranking loud music

A 70-year-old Silverdale man, irked at loud fighting in his house, a barking dog and a car blasting music outside, took a shot at the car.
Kitsap County sheriff’s deputies were called to the house in the 10900 block of Lathrop Lane Northwest at about 2 a.m. Feb. 6, according to reports.
The suspect told the two women “if they didn`t stop, and the vehicle didn`t leave, he would start shooting,” a deputy wrote. “The car didn`t leave and the music was still blaring, so (the suspect) stated that he shot his handgun once.”
The man said he shot at the tire of the car, The vehicle contained four people, ranging from 16 to 19 years old. The man went back inside his house and went to bed. No one was injured in the shooting.
The man was taken to Kitsap County jail for investigation of first-degree assault with a deadly weapon.
