A 46-year-old Silverdale woman received minor injuries when the car she was driving left the roadway in Poulsbo, hit an embankment and flipped over Monday afternoon.

The woman was driving a 2010 KIA Soul on the 17000 block of Viking Way NW at about 3:53 p.m. when the car left the roadway, according to a Kitsap County Sheriff's Office statement.

She was treated at the scene by medics from the Poulsbo Fire Department and then taken to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton for treatment of minor injuries.

The wreck is under investigation.
