Exercise Solid Curtain/Citadel Shield 2011 will be conducted on naval bases and installations throughout Navy Region Northwest from Feb. 21 to 25.

The yearly exercise is aimed at practicing the training and readiness of Navy security personnel to respond to threats to installations and units.

The exercise may occasionally cause increased traffic around bases and restrictions to base access. Local residents may also see increased security activity.

For more information about Solid Curtain/Citadel Shield 2011, contact the Navy Region Northwest Public Affairs Office at (360) 396-1630.
