A Central Kitsap man was riding his bicycle in Silverdale Feb. 26 when a man jumped out of a passing vehicle and stole the jacket off his back.
The robbery was reported at 4:58 p.m. by a 47-year-old man who said he was riding north on his bicycle on Greaves Way when a white Subaru station wagon passed him and then backed up, according to reports from the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office. The passenger in the car jumped out and pulled his jacket from him and got back into the station wagon, which drove away south on Greaves Way toward Old Frontier Road.
The passenger was described as a six-foot-tall white male in his mid twenties wearing a dark brown jacket. The stolen jacket was a Cabela’s brand jacket with a brown and green mossy pattern.
Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.
