Three CKSD board director positions on ballot

The Central Kitsap School District will have three school board positions up for election in November. All seats are four-year terms. The terms of board directors Mark A. Gaines, Christopher A. Stokke and Christy B. Cathcart will end in 2011. The board is responsible for working with district administrators to set the district’s overall direction.

Declarations of candidacy may be filed through the Kitsap County Auditor’s Elections Office from June 6 though June 10. For information on the director areas or the district, visit www.wednet.edu. For information on applying, visit www.kitsapgov.com/aud or call (360) 337-7128.
