Woman breaks Kitsap deputy's car window with bare feet
A 34-year-old woman broke the window of a Kitsap County sheriff deputy’s patrol car with her bare feet after being arrested and taken into the vehicle after getting into a brawl outside the Old Town Bistro in Silverdale April 17, according to a report from the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrived on scene at about 2 a.m. after being dispatched that there was a group of more than 10 people outside the bar fighting. The bouncer told deputies that the 34-year-old woman instigated the fight, according to the report. The bouncer attempted to interject and the woman’s 21-year-old boyfriend got upset when he tried to keep the two of them apart. The 21-year-old then began swinging punches at everyone around and assaulted the bistro’s cook. Another bouncer pepper-sprayed the man so he would not injure any more people.
When a deputy tried to arrest the 34-year-old, she pushed him and kept shouting profanities and calling the deputy a racist. After being placed in the patrol car, deputies could hear her continue to scream. She then kicked through the window with her bare feet and deputies had to place her in another deputy’s vehicle.
She was booked to Kitsap County jail for third-degree assault on a law enforcement officer, malicious mischief, obstruction and making false statements. The man was booked for two counts of assault.
