Bremerton cyclist in satisfactory condition

A 37-year-old Bremerton cyclist struck by a motorist May 12 was listed in satisfactory condition Monday.

The man was riding east on Fairgrounds Road in East Bremerton when he ran a red light and was hit by a 62-year-old Bremerton woman driving a 2008 Toyota Avalon, according to a State Patrol report. He was not wearing a helmet.

The man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
