Sex offender registers in Silverdale

A level III sex offender convicted of sexually assaulting children in Oregon and in Kitsap County is moving back to SIlverdale.

Cody Glenn Thompson, 21, has registered to live on the 4700 block of Lupine Lane NW, according to a statement from the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office. Thompson had previously lived in Seattle.

Thompson was convicted of sexually assaulting a 4-year-old child known to him in 2004.

In 2005, he was convicted of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old and a 2-year-old in Kitsap. Both children were known to him.

Thompson was convicted again in 2007 for sexually assaulting a 10-year-old.

There are about 880 registed sex offenders living in Kitsap County.
