Cucciardi announces run for Port of Bremerton Commissioner

Shawn Cucciardi announced earlier this month of his candidacy for the Port of Bremerton Commission, according to a statement.

Cucciardi is general manager and owner of McCormick Woods Golf Course and the Clubhouse Restaurant at McCormick Woods. As president of the Bremerton Area Chamber of Commerce, Cucciardi said he enjoys working with other community leaders to find solutions for local issues. He is also a board member of the South Kitsap Boys and Girls Club.

Residing in Port Orchard with his wife and two children, Cucciardi would represent the Port’s Position 3, an area that runs predominately west of Highway 3 up into the Central Kitsap area.

A major issue for Cucciardi would be working to keep SAFE Boats at the Port’s Industrial Park and ensuring their continued success and growth.
