A 46-year-old Bremerton man reported June 22 that his family’s pit bull was stolen sometime while they were at work during the day.

The man reported at 6:29 p.m. their 11-year-old female pit bull, Diamond, had been missing from her kennel at their home in the 2700 block of Hefner Street. When his wife left for work at about 7:45 a.m., the dog was in her kennel.

The couple said Diamond is a part of the family and has her own dinner plate. Police advised them to contact the Kitsap Humane Society. The man said he has put up flyers in his neighborhood notifying people of the missing pet, stating that there is a reward for her return.
