Silverdale Scouts ride 150 miles

Silverdale’s Troop 1539 Boy Scouts of America recently saw 12 Scouts complete their “Bicycle 50 Miler.” Riding from Silverdale to Deception Pass and back, the Scouts earned the cycling Merit Badge after completing the ride in 8 hours or less. Covering a total of more than 150 miles total, the Scouts covered the distance home from Deception Pass to Silverdale, 76 miles, in a single day.
