Kitsap Forest Theater 2012 season auditions

Kitsap Forest Theater will hold auditions in February for its 2012 season which includes "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Footloose,The Musical."

Auditions for the shows will be running concurrently and actors are encouraged to audition for both. Auditions will be from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Feb. 23 in Bremerton with the exact location to be announced later.

Two more auditions will be in Seattle from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 25 and 2 to 6 p.m. Feb. 26 in the TPS rehearsal rooms on the fourth floor at the Seattle Center House. Travel stipends are available for those in need. People are asked to prepare one song, with taped accompaniment or using the theater's accompanist, and a 60 to 120 second memorized monologue or scene cutting. A resume with photo is also desired.

Performances for Fiddler on the Roof will begin at the end of May and Footloose at the end of July at the outdoor theater in Bremerton. To sign up for an audition, call (206) 542-7815 or email auditions@ForestTheater.com.
