BRIEF | July CK community council meeting

The Central Kitsap Community Council meets Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Water and Fire District Community Room located at 5300 NW Newberry Hill Road in Silverdale.

The agenda includes the new stormwater plan for Silverdale and efforts by Kitsap County to obtain rights on private property for stormwater drainage efforts.

County employee Mindy Fohn will present a new "green" stormwater plan.

The council will also follow up with the Old Town Silverdale parking issue, with the transportation committee providing proposals to the council for consideration.

Robin Jensen and Bob Moyer withe the Central Kitsap Community Council will discuss parking options.

Jeff Brody, also with the council, will present efforts to improve outreach through Facebook.

A public comment period is scheduled for 8:45 p.m.
