The Silverdale Chamber of Commerce presented the Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Chamber Member of the Year and Pioneer Business award at the 2012 Accolades event Saturday at the Kitsap Conference Center in Bremerton.

The event’s theme was Bourbon Street Masquerade.

The following are the winner of the awards.

  • Citizen of the Year

Sgt. Maj. Tim Smith, USMC, retired

  • Chamber Member of the Year

Mike Walton, Kitsap Public Facilities District

Stacy Ryan and Scott McBride, owners of McBride’s Hallmark stores

Sponsored by Central Kitsap Reporter.

This award is presented to a business that has been in continuous operation for more than 10 years and has taken an active role to promote and improve our community.
