Soroptimist International of Port Orchard seek applicants | Women’s Opportunity Award

Soroptimist International of Port Orchard (SIPO) is again seeking applicants for two of its key awards for women and girls. The Women’s Opportunity Award is a scholarship for women who are heads of households, are enrolled in college and are in need of financial assistance to complete their educations.

Interested candidates must return completed applications to SIPO on or before December 1.

The Violet Richardson Award is a cash award presented to teenage girls, aged 14 – 17, who participate in volunteer activities in their community, school or church. Girls who wish to be considered must submit their applications to SIPO by December 15, 2012.
