From KITSAP NEWS Reports

Two Central Kitsap School District employees are hoping people will remain in the giving spirit into the new year.

A blood drive has been organized for Friday, Jan. 4 to help the family of Brenda and Tim Costello. Brenda’s mother, Connie Broderick, and brother, Bryan, were recently injured in a car accident and are now recuperating in the intensive care unit at Tacoma General Hospital. Both have used a lot of blood and are in need of more.

The blood drive will take place noon to 3 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. on Jan. 4 at Crosby Chapel Fellowship Hall, located at 16404 NW Church Road in Seabeck.

Sandy Flatness is the drive organizer and can be reached at (360) 830-4403.

Blood donations also can be taken at the Puget Sound Blood Center in Silverdale, located at 3230 NW Randall Way. The Blood Center can be reached at (360) 337-1985.
