Santa Claus is coming to town

Santa Claus is coming to town aboard a Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue fire engine.
Beginning this weekend, Santa will be making special appearances throughout Central Kitsap neighborhoods. CKFR, the Professional Firefighters of Kitsap County and the CKFR Association will drive Santa around CK aboard a big, red fire engine.
Santa and his helpers will be collecting food for the Central Kitsap Food Bank this year. CK residents are encouraged to help fill Santas bag with nonperishable food items.
Santas travels begin at 5:45 p.m. each day and usually end at about 9 p.m. Santa and his helpers will be coming to area neighborhoods on the following dates:
Saturday, Dec. 15: South on Chico to Erland Point Road including streets around Erland Point, Kittyhawk Drive and Country Lane
Sunday, Dec. 16: Yates Lane, Wildcat Lake Road, Lakeview Avenue, Holly Road, Freddies Lane, Seabeck Highway, Marks Road, Fern Leonia Rim View Court
Monday, Dec. 17: North on Chico to El Dorado Hills, Provost Road and Newport Court
Tuesday, Dec. 18: South on Chico Way to Northlake Way, West Kitsap Lake Drive and Werner Road
Wednesday, Dec. 19: South of Sylvan Way including streets around Trenton, Viewcrest, 30th Street, Bonair, Stoneway, Olympus and Perry Avenue
Thursday, Dec. 20: North of Sylvan Way including streets around Pine Avenue, Fir, Illahee, Shorecliff, Canoe and University Point
Friday, Dec. 21: West of Illahee including streets around Oceanview, Sunset, Agean, Corfu, Quinalt and East Boulevard
Santa and his helpers may be delayed due to inclement weather.
