From KITSAP NEWS Reports

The weather and a number of other issues have had a serious impact on the number of items donated for the local Toys for Tots campaign.

The Olympic Peninsula Detachment of the Marine Corps League is currently about 4,000 toys shy for this weekend's giveaway. There are drop boxes at a variety of locations in Central Kitsap including the Disney Store, JCPenney and Guest Services at Kitsap Mall. For more information or to make a cash donation, call Sgt. Maj. Cook at (360) 204-4352.
