While work continues on the State Route 3/303 interchange, additional ramp closures will occur for paving operations.

From 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 through 5:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, motorists can expect complete closures of the SR 3 northbound off ramp to SR 303/Kitsap Mall Boulevard and the southbound SR 303/Kitsap Mall Boulevard onramp to SR 3 for paving. Signed detours will be in place to direct drivers.

Construction for the $16.7 million project, which began in April 2006, is expected to be completed this fall. Once finished, drivers will have a direct access route between SR 3 and SR 303.

For information on road and traffic updates, drivers can call 511 or visit www.wsdot.wa.gov/traffic. For additional project information, visit www.wsdot.wa.gov/projects/SR3/Waagaway/.
