Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue recently welcomed Joel Stack as its newest career firefighter/EMT.

Stack joins CKFR from Port Ludlow Fire & Rescue where he worked as a full-time firefighter/EMT for the past three years.

Prior to his position in Port Ludlow, Joel was a resident firefighter/EMT with North Kitsap Fire & Rescue for 18 months.

Stack earned his Associate of Arts and Sciences degree from Whatcom Community College in 2000. He and his wife recently purchased a home in the Wildcat Lake area.

Joel feels fortunate to live in a part of the country that allows him to readily access the outdoors, camping, fishing, exploring and hiking.
