Story times at library
Saturday-morning story times take place at Clearbrook Library (32320 George Ferguson Way) on the second Saturday of every month, starting Jan. 13.
The program is aimed at children ages two to five and runs from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Stories, songs, rhymes and interactive activities are included.

Fiddlers host dance
The Central Fraser Valley Old Time Fiddlers hold their monthly Tea Dance on Sunday, Jan. 14 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The dance takes place at the Abbotsford Seniors Association (ASA) Hall (33889 Essendene Ave.). Admission, including lunch, is $5 for ASA members and $5.50 for non-members. Call 604-504-5464 for more details.
Mens health addressed
Central Heights Church on McCallum Road holds a mens health awareness seminar on Monday, Jan. 15.
The session starts at 7 p.m. and features Dr. George Vrabec, who discusses prostate cancer and associated issues. Cost is $5. Register by calling 604-852-1001.
Stamp club meets
The Fraser Valley Philatelic Club holds its monthly get-together on Monday, Jan. 15 for the purpose of learning about the hobby of postage-stamp collecting and for trading.

A sing-along on Monday, Jan. 15 celebrates Martin Luther Kind Day with spirituals, blues and Afro-American music.
