Echo Heights meeting set for Jan. 31
June 11, 2008 · Updated 2:48 PM
Alternative sites to North Cowichan councils planned development of Chemainus Echo Heights forest will be presented during a 6:30 p.m. public meeting Jan. 31 at St. Josephs School.
Bad weather postponed the CRAs previous meeting slated for St. Josephs last year.
The meeting will include retired geologist Fergus Andersons presentation on alternative sites, a talk by biologist David Polster concerning results of Madrone consultants study of Echo Heights ecology, and a question period about the planned Chemainus marina project.
The Jan. 31 meeting is also a precursor to the CRAs first annual general meeting set for Feb. 15 at St. Josephs. The CRA can be reached at 246-3438.
