Police investigate the truck involved in the accident near Fairview Junior High after the accident Wednesday morning.

Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue is currently on scene with the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office for a vehicle versus pedestrian on Central Valley Road, cross street Conifer Drive.

The pedestrian, a female in her late teens, has been transported to Harrison Silverdale for Airlift to Harborview Medical Center.

The Kitsap County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accident and their PIO, Scott Wilson, will release further information later today.

Central Valley Road is currently closed in front of Fairview Junior High.
