This month's Central Kitsap Community Council town hall meeting will focus primarily on follow-up to several of the Council's 2012 initiatives.

Presentations will include a report on how the changes in parking arrangements in Old Town are being received by the community, a look at where the marina construction at Seabeck stands, an update on efforts to locate a new library in Silverdale and a presentation on the status of the Shoreline Management Program update.

The council will also hear from Pat Campbell, the Senior Program Manager with Kitsap County's Solid Waste Division, on new initiatives and rate structures being considered by the Division.

The meeting is slated to run from 7 to 9 p.m. on Weds., Dec. 19, at the Water and Fire District Community Room, located at 5300 N.W. Newberry Hill Road in Silverdale.
