Leadership Kitsap will host its fourth annual Leadership Skill-building event on Feb. 20. The one-day workshop, "Engaging Challenging Conversations," will be led by Greg Abell.

The theme revolves around the "vision" of leaders in aiding individuals and groups successfully navigate change and conflict.

"This workshop is appropriate for anyone who wants to increase their capacity both personally and professionally to effectively engage change and conflict," the foundation said in a press release.

Greg Abell is a professional mediator and founding member and has served as board president of the Kitsap County Dispute Resolution Center. He has also served as president of the Washington Mediation Association, and senior consultant to the Consortium for Appropriate Dispute Resolution in Special Education.

Pre-registration is required to attend the workshop, which costs $125 before Feb. 1 and $145 after.
