Gore will make visit to Bremerton

"Tipper Gore, the wife of Vice President Al Gore, is scheduled to attend a rally next week in Bremerton, the Seattle campaign headquarters for the presidential candidate confirmed Wednesday.Tipper Gore, who currently serves as Mental Health Policy Advisor to President Clinton, is scheduled to attend a Feb. 21 Gore campaign rally, which will take place from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Bremer Student Center at Olympic College. She is scheduled to give a speech at 2:15 p.m.I think it's going to be an exciting day, said Charlotte Garrido, Kitsap County commissioner.The event is open to the public, and those who are interested in attending should contact Virginia McKinney, chairwoman of the 35th Legislative District Demo-crats, at 373-3542.Gore's trip to Bremerton is part of her West Coast tour, which began Feb. 18."
