PFD turns itsattention toward Fairgrounds

Designing the Bluejacket baseball field seating so that it provides both quality and portability is an issue that the Kitsap Public Facilities District must tackle.

The group of board members continued to debate on Monday on how to seat enough people and at the same time make the seating aesthetically pleasing. The seating will need to be in by June 2005.

As for the new Kitsap Conference Center, all were happy with the finished product and pleased to see such a great turn-out at the grand opening.

“We got what we were looking for, it’s a fabulous facility,” said Bror Elmquist, KPFD project development coordinator.
