Conference promises something for everyone

It will be the largest financial literacy conference to ever happen in Kitsap County and it’s coming to the Pavilion on April 1.

The Institute for Financial Literacy & Economic Development is presenting the 2005 Financial Literacy & Economic Empowerment Conference & Expo and four major wealth-building professionals will be speaking at the event.

“A conference of this magnitude is critical to Kitsap County,” said Pastor Clinton Bush, CEO of the Institute for Financial Literacy & Economic Development. “The conference will bring the community together, the business community, the political community, everyone. We understand that Washingtonians have broken dreams and this is a way to get the community together.”

Speaking at the conference will be four top experts who will teach the most powerful wealth-building secrets, among them motivational speaker Mark Victor Hansen, Rich Dad Advisor Blair Singer, motivational speaker and author Orrin Hudson and multi-millionaire Robert Larsen. The conference will consist of four 75-minute sessions.

Companies and organizations, large and small, are invited to become sponsors for the April conference. Bush and Dabbs McInnis, director of community and public relations for the Institute for Financial Literacy & Economic Development, are still offering sponsorship or endorsement opportunities.

“What’s unique about this event is that it crosses all business areas and not only at the business level, but on a personal level,” McInnis said.

Registration for the event is $45 if tickets are purchased by Feb. 17, $75 when purchased by Feb. 18. Tickets purchased after Feb. 18 will be sold at the door rate of $90.

“There’s not a better product out there that I believe can bring a diverse community together like this conference will,” Bush said. “We need something that will rally the people together, that people can leave from knowing they got something out of it. Anyone who is not satisfied with the conference, not revived and feels they are leaving without learning anything can have their money back.”

These are unbelievable and energetic speakers, it would be a tragedy for Kitsap County not to be at the conference, said Bush, who has taken on the slogan of “Are you going to the Conference?” which he plans to spread throughout Kitsap County.

“We want every Kitsap County resident to attend, business owners should bring the whole office,” Bush said. “Everyone can expect to leave the conference with the wisdom, know-how, motivation, mindset and mission to move toward whatever your heart’s desire is. You’ll immediately leave the conference changed and will be given a step by step method to the road of financial freedom, all you have to do is apply it.”

The first 100 people who sign up will be given a wealth building kit, valued at $160. To register for the conference call (360) 373-1702 or register online at www.newwaronpoverty.com.
