Many may be wondering what is currently happening with the proposed Central Kitsap Community Campus in Silverdale — and those attending the Central Kitsap Community Council (CKCC) meeting on Wednesday received an answer.

Rob MacDermid, chair of the task force charged with developing the campus, presented updated information on the intended project which will be located on the vacant lot in Silverdale on Randall Way between the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office and Regal Cinemas.

“We’re involved in two critical steps. We are developing a public information campaign and we are in the process of developing plans of where the buildings will sit,” MacDermid said.
