Big crowd anticipated for National Day of Prayer

The word is out among local churchgoers that this year’s National Day of Prayer service is going to be even bigger than last year.

“We had 750 last year which was a record for us,” said Pastor Teri Graham of Abundant Life Foursquare Church who’s also the lead coordinator, “and we’re expecting more than 1,000 this year” when the event begins at 6:45 p.m. tomorrow, May 5, at the Kitsap Pavilion.

“We’re very excited about the size of community that’s willing to turn out and support this event.”
