Sheep Barn receives

What was once a dirt floor inside the Sheep Barn at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds is now a level layer of concrete.

Thanks to two local businesses, the barn floor is no longer dusty and unleveled. Fred Hill Materials and Myhre Concrete Construction donated their material and labor on June 11 to pour a new concrete surface for the approximately 20-year-old barn. Fred Hill Materials donated labor and 128-cubic yards of concrete worth $11,500. Crews from Myhre Concrete Construction worked to finish the floor.
