Roads closed in and around Fairgrounds

Kitsap County Public Works is shutting down portions of Fairgrounds and Tibardis roads next week to make room for the Kitsap County Fair & Stampede.

Starting Monday morning, Aug. 22, the portion of Northwest Fairgrounds Road between Nels Nelson Road and Tracyton Boulevard Northwest will be closed to through traffic, as will the section of Tibardis Road Northwest between Northwest Fairgrounds Road and Northwest Fox Run. The roads will remain closed until Monday, Aug. 29.

While emergency vehicles will be allowed, all other motorists are advised to take an alternate route. The Kitsap County Fair & Stampede opens at 10 a.m. on Wednesday with admission for a quarter until 3 p.m. and free admission to the Fair and rodeo for military members with ID.
