HOG wild for Memory Walk

Cyd Wadlow’s husband has a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. So, the couple has been involved with the Silverdale Harley Owners Group, better known as HOG, for two years now.

Wadlow also has participated in the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk for six years.

When the Silverdale HOG members held their annual Poker Run fund-raiser on Aug. 20, she suggested the Harley-Davidson riders donate the $3,100 to the 2005 Kitsap County Memory Walk.

Now Destination Harley-Davidson is not only the Sivlerdale HOG sponsor-business, it also is a freshman team on the Memory Walk.

“They’ve been pretty incredible to work with,” said Melissa Soules, coordinator for the four Memory Walks in the state.

The first-time team is adding the Poker Run money to $500 it already had to its name.

That makes team Destination
