Most of the people who showed up for the Tacoma Narrows Bridge tolls workshop in Silverdale Tuesday were now-and-then-ers.

Then there were a few frequent bridge commuters sprinkled among the 24 attendees at Central Kitsap High School’s cafeteria. Lisa Chapman was one of those.

A Bremerton resident, Chapman is a district manager for retail stores in Tacoma and Olympia. She drives across TNB daily.

She said before coming to the workshop she had two questions — how much the toll would be and “how does this ensure that traffic will continue flowing versus getting bottle-necked?”
