Space still available for CPR Saturday for Teens

For one day Kitsap Mall won’t just be for shopping but for a lesson in saving lives.

The American Red Cross hosts its annual training event, CPR Saturday for Teens, on Jan. 28 for students ages 12 to 18. Space is still available for the free event, but pre-registration is required.

The training, which takes a little more than two hours, provides students with CPR certification. With the guidance of American Red Cross volunteers, students will use mannequins to learn rescue breathing and CPR and will practice what to do in the event of conscious or unconscious choking.
