Class on nature mindfulness set

Mindfulness in Nature, a four-week class where participants will receive guidance in mindfulness skills to help promote deep experience in the gifts of the earth – the sights, sounds, smells, tastes and feelings, will begin July 30.

Explore area forests and waters with others and be introduced to practices to awaken the senses and open the heart. No mindfulness experience is required. The class meets four Wednesdays — July 30, Aug. 6, 13 and 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at various locations. Pre-registration is required and the cost is $100 or $125 after July 16.
