The Central Kitsap School District Board of Directors will host a study session at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24 in the gymnasium of the Jenne-Wright Administrative Center, 9210 Silverdale Way N.W., to discuss the surplus process and sale options for Seabeck Elementary School.

The vacant school stands on a three-parcel, 15-acre piece of property and has been the subject of surplus talks since its closure last year.

Board study sessions are not intended for public comment, but interested community members are encouraged to attend. And in accordance with Board Policy 1400, no action will be taken during the meeting.

A regularly scheduled board meeting, beginning at 7 p.m., will follow.

For more information, contact CKSD Community Relations Director David Beil, (360) 662-1620.
